The Hobbit

What two items does Bilbo forget in his rush to meet the dwarves and the green dragon inn

What do you think forgetting these items tell the reader about bilbo's willingness to go on this adventure?

I want to thank you for all of your help

His hat, walking stick and money. He was most concerned that he forgot his handkerchief however.

He's extremely apprehensive about going on the adventure.
