What is this creature that last week took the life of sci-fi legend Ray Bradbury?

"This thing all things devours:

He was 91 so I don't know what you mean by" creature". Can you clue me in a little more?

Time. Time devours all things; it eats at iron, works away at stones turning them into grains of dirt/sand. Time, thus old age is what killed Ray Bradbury.
