Sorry, I am not familiar enough with the vaious classic stories of Beauty and the Beast. Unless you have studdied Beauty and the Beast, this is a difficult question to answer. 

Beorn’s house is like it’s abandoned from the outside, but from the inside, it’s bright like in the old movies of the Beauty and the Beast. Beorn likes bright things and he likes quiet environment. He is different from the Beast as he is really sneaky and strong.
