Why is Daisy's name after the flower daisy? Why is the light that Gatsby looks at green? Why does it specifically mention that Jordan and Daisy were wearing white dresses?

Why those specific colors and the name of a beautiful flower when Daisy is not a good person?

You have so many questions here rolled into one. I'll take the name question first. Then please submit each other one separately. I think the only significant idea around Daisy's name is that she is anything but flowerlike. She is actually not a very nice human being. She is selfish and entitled. I think the irony is the point behind her name.
