Who is Meyer Wolfsheim, and what do we know about him?

Wolfsheim is a friend of Gatsby's. He is a wealthy Jewish man, who is obviously involved in some type of business with Gatsby. Wolfsheim is a tough man, though not highly educated..... he is best known as a notorious gambler.
