What stages does Gatsby go through as he waits for and then meets Daisy ?

At first he's nervous, before her arrival he becomes panicked...... we might also describe his actions and speech as seeming frightened. After Daisy's arrival, Gatsby is uncomfortable, pensive, and shy. As their reunion progresses, he becomes enthralled, and joyous.
