In Chapter 7, we meet the real Daisy. Was Daisy's objective to re-kindle an old flame or make her husband jealous?

I believe Daisy meant to do both. She enjoyed the attention Gatsby gave her, as well as their brief affair. I don't believe, however, that she intended to ever leave her husband.... no more than Tom would have left her. Neither characrer would have given up their position or social standing for an affair.... neither would have sought a divorce. It's likely that part of Daisy's reason for continuing the affair was to get back at her husband.... to make Tom jealous, and if it was.... she succeeded.
