How does Myrtle react to Toms arrival?

Myrtle's is as cool as a cucumber. She walks down the stairs, gets rid of her husband on a ruse they need chairs, and makes plans with her lover to meet at her apartment (the apartment Tom pays for). She never lets on, and her husband never suspects.
