Jordan acts as if she would do anything to meet Gatsby; she is intrigued by what she has heard about him. When she does finally meet him, she ends up in a meeting with him alone and comes out of that meeting stunned by what she has "learned." Nick is fascinated by her, yet she has no real values and is interested in the "rich and famous."
