Do u sympathise Gatsby as a character. Do you like nick carraway character. Was Tom judtified what he did?

Yes, I sympathize with Gatsby. He based his entire life on a dream from the past and it wasn't what he believed it to be. Everything he did, he did for Daisy, but in reality he never knew the woman he wanted to badly and believed himself to be in love with. The Daisy he loved was an illusion.

Nick Caraway is a very likable character. He's easily identified with, blends into any social situation, has values, and is smart enough to question behaviors he sees in other. He is compassionate and empathetic, but he's also brutally honest and speaks his mind.

Justified in what he did.........? Tom is suave, rich and extremely selfish. He's also selfish and abusive. I'm not sure what specific incident you're asking about, or whether you're asking if he's justified for his abusive behaviors on the whole. Either way, his actions aren't justified. Tom is simply a spoiled, rich boy who believes he can do whatever he wants without recrimination; the world doesn't work that way.
