ASAP help, Gatsby's Greatness!

the outline i received was:

Evaluate the character of Jay Gatsby. Does he deserve to be labeled "great"? If so, why and how? If not, why not?

i am arguing that Gatsby was great. i just need as many points as anyone can think of as WHY he was great, i can find the quotations and expand on it from there,

THANKS LET ME KNOWWWW please and thank you!! :)

ps if anyone has any old essays on this i could use to reference from thatd be great!!

Some say he is great because he sees something he wants and spares nothing to go after it.  He remains hopeful and believes he will succeed.

That's all I can think of.  I don't consider Jay great myself.
