Do you think that Joads made the good choice to go to California ?

If you could answer fast, this would be perfect !

I got to answer to that question and I don't really if it's a good or a bad choice... I think that in one hand it is a bad choice because Gramma and Grandpa and Casy died but it's a good choice because they started a new life.... Can somebody answer me ?

Really they didn't have much of a choice. They were kicked off their land and had no money. Other migrants were going to California. At least they would have the company of other migrants along the way and the hope of something more in California. Grandma and Grandpa would have most probably have died whether they starved at home or went somewhere else.
