What does young Jeannette think of her experience with the cheetah?

Jeannette was thrilled by the fact the cheetah had licked her hand. She showed no fear.... she merely enjoyed. When people complained and talked about them as they left the zoo..... Jeannette thought about the fact that what they said didn't matter...... she was able to touch a cheetah.
