How did Jeanette's parents first meet?

Rex claims that he was in the Air Force, and Rose Mary was on leave from the USO to visit with her parents. Rex and his friends were at a lake summoning up the courage to dive in, when Rose Mary drove up with a friend looking like a "movie star" and dove right in. Rex fell in love with her at first sight and vowed he would marry her.
