After his departure,Jonas runs for many days,avoiding search planes and fighting exhaustion and starvation.Then,the planes stop coming and he seems to know where he is.Where is this place?

He doesn't really know where he is, but he does know where he is going. The land is called "Elsewhere", where the community's rules don't apply. As he travels farther away, more color is introduced. When he reaches the village and sleds down the hill, all the memories are released.
