    Why is Stephen King depicting the character Trisha as a heroine in his novel The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon?

    Trisha is a heroine in her merit because she proves that nothing is impossible as long as one is determined to attain a particular goal. She is lost in the forest but she does not give up at any moment because she is sure that there is light at the end of the tunnel. She stays in the forest for some days without food and water but she keeps on trying to get out of the forest. Therefore, Trisha is a heroine because she demonstrates that there is power in determination and it is not good to give up when one is looking to attain a particular goal.

    What makes Trisha start fantasizing while lost in the forest?

    Trisha is not happy because she feels like she has been abandoned by the people who matter most in her life. All the days she is lost in the forest, she has not come across anybody trying to locate her. When she hears sounds made by the winds and the branches, she thinks that her answers have been answered because someone might be following to rescue her. In her financiers, she sees Gordon and other people trying to console her. Nevertheless, she realizes that she is just dreaming because she is all alone in the forest.

    Why did Trisha gets lost in the forest?

    Trisha is making a trip to the forest with her mother and brother. She is following them from behind and she is asking several questions as they head to the forest. However, some of her questions go unheard by her mother and she thinks that she is being intentionally ignored. Therefore, she decides to turn back and follow a different direction not knowing that she will get lost. Her mother and brother continue moving thinking that Trisha is following them but she, unfortunately, gets lost.
