When does Trisha accept she is lost and how does she react?

After crawling out from beneath the tree, Trisha realizes the woods must be full of snakes and other creatures. At this point, she realizes for the first time that she is lost. She reacts by arguing the point out loud.... talking to herself. Then, in her tirade, she trips on a rock and lands on her back. Still talking to herself, she urges herself to be calm and tells herself to walk back to the fallen tree and look straight ahead..... that should point her in the direction of the main trail..... or will it?
