Trisha's brook turns into a series of puddles. She becomes upset because the puddles are harder to follow, and she loses a shoe in the muck. Then she realized it was also growing more shallow; it really wasn't much more than a series of puddles, most dulled with pond-scum and hopping wit bugs.
