The Fifth Element is a fantastic action film with the elements of comedy directed by Luc Besson. It has been shot in 1996 at the “Gaumont” studio in France, and released in 1997. The budget of the film encounters 90 million dollars, and at that moment was the most expensive film ever made in Europe.
Luc Besson has been working on the script since he was 16 years old. While working on other projects he continued changing the plot of the story. When it has been released he was already 38 years old. Luc Besson has himself made up the Divine Language that Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) speaks on. The actress also has enriched it herself. This artificial language encounters around 400 words.
