The Fall of the House of Usher

the fall of the house of usher by edgar allan poe

Interpret this description of Roderick Usher "by the utter simplicity, by the nakedness of his designs, he arrested and overawed attention"? (discuess with at least six sentences and a couple of quotes)

I think the narrator has trouble figuring out exactly what is wrong with Usher and everything around him. Usher and his house were shocking but in a simple abstract way.
