Gilgamesh, Enkidu, Ishtar (and most people I know) are all afflicted with this "human" failing at the root of their character. It causes Gilgamesh to think he can take advantage of his people, it causes Enkidu to be the opposite of what he should be in the land of the dead, and it causes Ishtar to persuade her father to unleash the Bull of Heaven. What is this greatest weakness that must be overcome? Gilgamesh DOES overcome it, but how? What is the lesson for US to learn? Let me know what you think.
