Can you please summarize the battle with Humbaba, and identify Enkuidu's role. And what differences between Gilgamesh and Enkidu does the battle regale?

When Gilgamesh meets Humbaba, he is afraid and needs encouragement from Enkidu.  The battle begins and it is so violent that it shakes the earth and turns the sky dark.  Eventually, with some help from one of the gods, Humbaba is blinded and captured; Gilgamesh wants to be merciful, but Enkidu is enraged and asks that Humbaba be killed.  When Humbaba curses them both, Gilgamesh kills Humbaba with one blow and the battle is finished.
