The Education of Little Tree

Grandpa shares his heritage with Little Tree. He is patient, as he teaches Little tree to respect and protect the nature that surrounds them. He allows Little Tree to make his own mistakes, so that he will learn from them, and he risks his own life in order to save Little Tree's life when he's bitten by the snake.

Granma loves Little Tree and cares for his spiritual needs. She teaches Little Tree to read and write, she helps prepare him for the future.
