Why do you think that the diary has become a classic piece of literature, translated into more than thirty languages?

This question calls for your opinion, there is no right or wrong answer. In my opinion, Anne's diary has become a classic because she simply wrote the truth as she saw it.... it wasn't meant to be a book, it wasn't written for anyone but herself. Anne had no idea that it would be read by millions so it is infused with blatant honesty and innocence.
