There were so many it's difficult to know where to begin. Of course Ann feared being found out by the Nazis. Other than that she had the normal teenaged angst of a girl compounded by the fact she was stuck in a small space with so many people. Anne had boy problems, mother problems and even philosophical dilemmas. She wonders, for example, how people can be good and others so evil.
