The main advantage was not being sent to concentration camps. Anne lived with her family. They were safe to be together. People bonded in their own way. They carried on a "normal" life.

Disadvantages were the cramped space. Disagreements between people, the constant danger of being found out.

I do not know about five, but here goes:

Disadvantages - shortage of food, shortage of privacy, risk of being caught, constant bickering, ability not to go through normal stages of living (Anne, Margot, Peter)

Advantages - ability to continue one's religion, becoming closer to one's family, continuing one's education as Anne does, finding some safety as long as they are not discovered, learning to adapt to difficult situations
