paper has more patience than people..? please explain

This is pure common sense. Writing down your feelings enables you to express a whole range of emotions without hurting anyone's feelings or later feeling guilty about things you've said in the heat of the moment. Journals don't get angry, they don't question, and best of all they don't rush you. Paper has patience, people often don't.
