The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

As a writer, what choices did Anne make in writing her diary?

I think its about what she chooses to talk about or not talk about, how open or closed minded she is when discussing certain things...

If there is anything else that I'm missing please do write it :)

Anne chose to use honesty in writing her diary. She writes for herself, she writes because she needs someone to talk to, and she has no one she feels as if she can talk to. Anne addresses her feelings, and yes, she can be close-minded, but you have to remember a diary records the thoughts and feelings of the individual, it is subjective, not objective. There are times, however, when Anne tries to see certain situation from perspectives other than her own.
