Like many teeagers her Age, Anne begins to struggle for independence. This is made much harder considering the close quaters of the annex. Anne laments the kisses her parents give her as well as the cute nicknames that she is called. Anne feels that she is older than other girls her age. Her thoughts turn to boys and fashion.
