Jewish tradition involved couples being married under a wedding canopy. When the Nazi soldiers arrive in trucks and insist that no one can enter the Shul. Fayge is devastated that her wedding will not be a traditional Jewish wedding, but Shmuel reassures her that they WILL be married.
