Who were the Nazis during World War 2?

The Nazis were the followers of the German tyrant Adolf Hitler.  During World War II, they followed his orders to completely exterminate the Jewish population as well as gypsies and homosexuals.  They constructed death camps, gassing and torturing all of the prisoners, killing more than 6,000,000 Jews throughout the war's duration.
