What happened to Greta's child, and what was his name?

Greta's baby, baptised Carlise, dies at birth, as the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck.

Together, Greta and Akiko, whose hair was as black as a raven’s wing, delivered a blue baby boy, the umbilical cord around his neck like a little tie. Greta baptized him Carlisle.
