what do you think of christopher's understanding of methapors?

Question

christopher seems to hate methapors and thought that it doesn't have any sense at all. Do you think he is wrong or not? or both

Chris has a problem understanding figurative language. Chris sees the world in concrete terms rather than subtleties.

I think it [a metaphor] should be called a lie because a pig is not like a day and people do not have skeletons in their cupboards.
