How does Christophers relationship with Siobhan differ from his relationship with his parents?

Hes constantly reflecing on things shes taught him. Whats their relationship like compared to his relationship with his parents?

His relationship with Siobhan differs from that of other people because she is the one person who treats him with complete honesty. Rather than working around his problems and just trying to make it through the day; she assists Christopher in learning about himself. She works with him and influences him to get through the difficult times rather than go around them.

Siobhan understands what Christopher is going through more than his parents because of her job at a school for children with learing difficulties. She always tries to treat him humanly and understands (and respects) when he needs to be left alone. She always encourages him. His parents on the other hand, find it all to much. His mother, Judy, left because she didn't have enough patience for Christopher and everything he needed. His Father, Ed, was a lot better but still raised his voice at him for asking questions or being curious which is something Christopher can not help. I hope this helped :)
