The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time

Comment on the sort of minute detail that Christopher notices. What do you make of this? I.e., what does it tell us about the way he sees the world and his responses to events?

One minute detail that Christopher notices is the white noise of the police radio..... something he finds calming. He doesn't, however, like the demeanor of the policemen, or the fact that they touch him. This tells us that Christopher likes continuous sound but doesn't like close physical proximity. One calms him, whereas, the other frightens him (makes him uncomfortable).
