Giles Corey is a spirited farmer in Salem. He is famous for filing lawsuits against people he thinks have wronged him. Mr. Putnam is trying to have him tried for witchcraft so he can take his land. I'm not too sure what is unusual about him. I know that when he is put to death, he is pressed by rocks. Apparently the last words he said were "more weight".
