Why does Mary Warren turn on Proctor?

Marry Warren is a scared girl. Although she promises Proctor to do the right thing, her will is no match for the manipulative Abigail. All it takes is for Abigail to perform a little theatrics in court using Mary Warren's "spirit" as a focus point. Mary Warren is no match for Abigail's veiled threats and turns on Proctor.
