The Crucible

why does everyone say that in act 2, elizabeth proctor, does not tell john proctor something? I must have missed this detail, please help i am so confused.

I know that at the beginnin in act 2 tensions are high between john and elizabeth and that elizabeth is shocked at john's lateness to dinner, and that john had an affair with abigail and all that but what does elizabeth not tell john?

I looked at the act again and I'm not sure Elizabeth is holding anything back. She killed a rabbit but I'm not sure how important that is. She doesn't yet know about the affair. She may have inklings of it (but not yet saying anything) and perhaps that is what you are referring to.
