Parris desperately wants the judge to convict people. When the judge doesn't jump to hall people into jail, Parris does fight with Danforth. I am inclined to go with "B" though. Parris gets upset about many things easily. He argues about his house and golden candlesticks. He attacks people's honour even more than he used to.
