What are your initial impressions of Abigail? Why does she confess? How do your initial impressions of her change throughout Act 1?

This depends on your opinion. I found Abigail to be aggressive and manipulative. She seemed to know how to manipulate people like her Uncle Parris and the girls that were with her that night. I think Abigail becomes even more conniving as the act goes on.
