The Crucible

Why do you think the Salem witch trials have not been forgotten overtime?

The trials represent the psyche of American paranoia, hysteria, and hypocrisy. These traits have been relived in American society in the religious and political realms. You might consider the McCarthy Witch Hunts in the 1950's as a political/social parallel to Salem. The Crucible is also a great story!
