john proctor says to elizabeth, "let you look for some goodness in me..." is there goodness in proctor, in your opinion?

There is goodness in John Proctor but he needs to reconcile his own sins before he can make that statement to Elizabeth. He has not admitted his adultery with Abigail so any goodness he claims to have is nullified until he can be honest with his wife.
