Emphasize and deeply explain the quote Reverand hale tells Elizabeth Proctor , "no principle, however glorious" is worth dying for, and he argues that it is better to give a false confession than to die for a principle.

This question calls for your own opinion. I believe that Proctor was right inn following his conscience and doing what he believed to be the right thing. He would rather die with honor than live dishonored. In my opinion, he wouldn't have been able to live with his action had he lied to save his life.
