Where in the book does Dante buy the isle of monte cristo

He finds his treasure and supposedly buys the Island of monte Cristo

As far as I know, he never really buys the island. He finds the treasure in Chapter 15. Because of his education from Abbe, Dante can easily pass as an educated nobleman. His new found wealth on the island merely gives him this moniker. He is rich and refined so people believe his money is inherited.
