Celie says that "Mr__ starts to appreciate some of the things God was Playful enough to make". My question is : How come God was Playful? I mean what is meant by God is Playful?

I think Celie is giving God characteristics that are more than just omnipotent and serious. It is as if God is amused by the obstacles and conflicts that he gives to people like Mr.___.
