What were reasons (at least two) that Sam left home? chapter 7

Sam left home because he wasn't happy. He worked all the time, did his daily chores, went to school, and then worked some more. He didn't do well in school and had no self-confidence.... Sam simply needed to get away and live his own life away from the chaos at home. Unfortunately, after he moved to Chicago and got a job, he later joined the army. Sam was killed fighting in WWII.
