The Color of Water

It was in her sense of education, more than any other, that Mommy conveyed her jewishness to us. Do anyone agree with that statement?

It is awkward at best to make cultural generalizations but I think in this case, there is a sense of endearment. There are many stereotypes of Jews but the fact that education is so important is probably an accurate supposition about the Jewish culture.

I agree with that statement.
