Almost everyone says Natella is wrong in whatever she does especially leaving the young Michael behind but does she posses any good traits?
Natella is a pretty flat character. She doesn't really have any redeeming features to her. Natella really represents an idea to support the themes of the play. She symbolizes a complete lack of respect for motherhood, the justice system, responsibility and religion. She commits one of the gravest of motherhood sins, child abandonment. Then she seeks to reclaim the child for title. So no, there are no redeeming features to her.
