What do you think, why does Jamila finally agree to the arranged marriage with Changez? Karim thinks Jamila marries him "out of perversity ... as a rebellion against the rebellion" Do you think his theory is supported and how do you unterstand rebellion against the rebellion? Or does she marry him as an experiment in her political identity? Or for her mother?
