Write an argument that discusses whether money is or is not the most important element of a students’ success in college, using examples from BITB and contemporary examples/your own personal experiences.

This is only a short answer space. I can make a general comment. Money, unfortunately, is very important to success. Schools cost money and living costs money. Material resources are out of reach for most people in the world. College and University isn't viable when a person is just trying to put food on the table and survive.
